Arabian Gratings Pultruded Handrails system components are made using the pultrusion process (raw materials pulled through a resin bath and pre-forming die) and contain up to 70% fiberglass, guaranteeing remarkable mechanical properties in every Pultruded Handrails product.
The internal composition of continuous directional glass fibers gives Pultruded Handrails exceptional resistance to impact and fatigue, ensuring that permanent deformations do not occur even under accidental overload. This makes Pultruded Handrails highly reliable for safety-critical applications.
Lightweight and very easy to install, our Pultruded Handrails are especially suited to corrosive environments such as industrial, chemical, and wastewater treatment plants, as well as commercial structures exposed to urban and salt air corrosion. Arabian Gratings offers two types of Pultruded Handrails systems: square tube Pultruded Handrails and round tube Pultruded Handrails. The various components of the Pultruded Handrails system include vertical posts, top rails, mid rails, toe plates, base plates, and connectors. All Pultruded Handrails can be customized to meet specific customer requirements.
Round Tube Handrails - Our newest guardrail solution is composed of various pultruded tubes. This UV-coated system was designed as a more durable alternative to standard steel and aluminum round railings. These are used in various applications where safety and ergonomics are a major concern. Round rails eliminate the flat surfaces of square tube systems which can become a resting place for tools and other equipment, creating potentially hazardous situations for dropping/falling objects. The rounded railing and corners also eliminate sharp edges, providing a more comfortable grip for end‐users. Also, the overall appearance of the system is more aesthetically pleasing than the square tube alternative because all fasteners are hidden which provides a smooth and clean look. We also provide customized round guardrail systems.
Square Tube Handrails - Our pultruded square tube guardrail system includes everything that is needed to install OSHA and IBC compliant horizontal and inclined railing systems with either two or three rails. We also provide specialty picketed guardrail systems.
